Blizzard Village - 3D Environment
My challenge here was to create an environment using a single texture set for the buildings, also focusing on creating the atmosphere utilising animated fog/snow planes and a particle system.
I included a uniquely textured barrel asset to bring a small pop of colour and break up repetition. To further introduce variation I included some warm orange lighting around the house and barrels to create a feeling of safety within the storm. A red light atop the building gives a stark contrast against the blue and white of the environment.

Construction notes: A channel packed snow texture was used with a master material using pixel depth offset and tesselation to create variation between the snow clump assets.
